When God sends his angels to bring the Apocalypse, one rebel angel (Paul Bettany) protects a group of stranded truck stop visitors (including Dennis Quaid!).
This movie looks like it will be in the category of “so bad it’s funny.” With the crummy cgi and the poorly delivered lines of cheesy dialogue, it’s hard not to laugh at the trailer.
There are a lot of unanswered questions in the trailer. How could they possibly go against God and win? How can angels be villains? Unfortunately, these questions I have no interest in finding the answer to.
Even though Legion may be accidentally entertaining or unintentionally funny, the quality of the movie obviously will be awful. That is why I am giving it a “1.5” on the Potential Meter.
Legion is due to be released in January, 2010. Until then, stay away from old ladies at truck stops.
